Afya Trust Charter
Afya exists to help people in Oman find care they can trust. We make money so we can keep doing that, never in a way that bends what you see. These are promises, and we build them into our systems so we can't quietly break them.
Money never moves a doctor up.
Search order and rankings are computed with zero input from who pays us. Our ranking system cannot even read our billing records, and we let that be audited.
No one can pay to hide, delete, or reorder a review.
Every review, good or bad, is moderated by the same human rules whether or not the doctor pays us. A doctor can reply publicly and ask us to correct a factual error. A doctor can never make an honest review disappear.
Reviews are invited fairly or not at all.
Providers may invite real patients who actually visited to leave a review. They may never cherry-pick only the happy ones.
"Verified" means checked, not paid.
A verified badge means we confirmed a doctor's identity and licence. It is never a paid endorsement and never a statement about quality.
Your data is never for sale.
We never sell your reviews, your searches, or anything that could identify you. When we share insights with insurers, employers, or researchers, they are always anonymous and grouped, never about you as an individual. Your employer never sees which doctor you looked for.
Free to find care, always.
Every doctor has a free, accurate profile, and every doctor's real phone, WhatsApp, and directions are always visible, whether or not they pay us. You never have to pay, and you are never blocked from reaching a doctor.
Sponsored is always obvious.
If something is a paid placement, it is clearly labeled, clearly separated, and never dressed up as a neutral recommendation, and it never appears inside our care-navigator's medical guidance.
We are independent.
We are not owned by any hospital, insurer, or the government. Partnerships never buy control over what you see.
If we ever break one of these, tell us, and hold us to it.
