Dr. Sameer Al Azzawi

Graduated from Baghdad Medical School and moved to the United Kingdom in 1977 for my postgraduate specialization in Medicine and subsequently Hematology. Served as a consultant hematologist in the National Health Service in UK before recruited by the Ministry of Health in 1996 to Head Oman Blood Transfusion Service and to be entrusted with the Department of Hematology in the Royal Hospital till 2006 and in Central Blood Bank till 2011. Joined Muscat Private Hospital in 2002 as a senior consultant hematologist and to head the Pathology Department and Laboratory Services to date.
