Dr. Maryam Al Shezawi

I am a dedicated and passionate Specialist Paediatric Dentist with 19 years of experience in dentistry and extensive clinical training in paediatric dentistry from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. I enjoy working with children and helping them achieve a positive dental experience through compassionate and evidence-based care. My clinical experience includes comprehensive dental treatment for children under local anaesthesia, inhalation sedation, and general anaesthesia. I also have experience managing children with medical conditions, special healthcare needs, and behavioural challenges. Currently, I work at Sohar Hospital, Ministry of Health, Oman, where I am responsible for paediatric dental services in North Batinah Governorate. Alongside clinical work, I actively participate in professional education, awareness programs, lectures, and training of general dental practitioners. I believe in continuous professional development and regularly participate in international conferences and workshops in paediatric dentistry and dental trauma. My goal is to provide high-quality, child-friendly dental care while promoting oral health awareness in the community.
