Dr. E.B.S. Ramanathan

Dr. E. B. S. Ramanathan is an active Orthopedic surgeon with Specialization in the treatment of SPORTS INJURIES. He is popularly known as Dr. Ram Sethu and has over 30 years experience in General Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He completed his undergraduate (MBBS) and Post-graduate (MS) studies in Stanley Medical College, Chennai and he left for UK in 1980 and obtained his basic FRCS and FRCS orth degrees from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 1986 he passed the MCh orth degree from the University of Liverpool and later completed the A. O. Fellowship in Trauma at the University Cantonal Hospital in Geneva. He has undergone Arthroscopic / Sports Injuries treatment courses in HSS, New York and Mayo Clinic, USA. Previously he was Senior Consultant Orthopedics and Head of Arthroscopy & Sports Injuries unit in Khoula Hospital for 26 years
